Key Innovations and Specifications
The TY-300 is equipped with newly developed print heads that deliver precise print detail, ideal for complex graphics, small text, and photographic images. It also features Roland's True Rich Color 3 technology for vivid and natural color reproduction. The staggered layout of the two large print heads enables printing white, essential for apparel printing, with high productivity of 10.9 m2/hr. in Production mode In addition, customers can now easily replace the caps, wipers, wiper cleaners, and flushing sponges around the printhead, which means that even if a problem occurs, there is no need to wait for a service technician to arrive, significantly reducing downtime.
The TY-300 will accept media widths from 182-762 mm (7-30 in), with a maximum print width of 736 mm (29 in). The media heating system on the printer heats the media to between 30-45°C (86-113°F), and the printer’s onboard perforation cutting function streamlines the workflow by allowing easy separation of transfers after they are completed.
The TY-300’s ink cartridge system (500mL/color) is another standout feature. Roland's new S-PG2 inks (CMYKWW) are optimized for DTF printing, offering high color fidelity while reducing ink consumption and minimizing waste through advanced maintenance features. These inks, alongside the accompanying powders, meet OEKO-TEX ECO PASSPORT certification standards which guarantees that they do not contain toxic substances in concentrations harmful to the human body.
